What is Coaching?
Simply coaching is a conversation or series of conversations, that make an impact on the person who is being coached. An effective coaching conversation influences someone’s understanding, learning, behaviour, and progress.
Clear Thinking Coaching involves using coaching, training, and mentoring to bring insight and transformation in my clients.
I help people to develop and learn in ways that enable them to have or achieve what they really want by drawing out the inherent wisdom of my client
During coaching conversations, I facilitate a process of enquiry and discussion by listening, usage of powerful questioning, and offering summaries, observations, and feedback.
Through this distinct focus on my clients and their situation, my clients gain insight and increased clarity regarding a situation or topic which enables them to make progress in some way.
As their coach I facilitate their decision-making process and together we agree on a concrete action. Investigate the expected outcome of coaching and the possible saboteurs such as controller, avoider, pleaser etc at play that can slow down pace of success.
In addition to tackling immediate challenges and opportunities, over time most of my clients will often experience broader benefits, such as improved confidence, resourcefulness, and emotional intelligence maturity.
Mental Fitness Training to generate lasting new habit
Insight is not enough. To really work and move forward on the insight gained in a coaching session we must get to the root of our mental operating system. Using tools to find and label our saboteurs such as judge, stickler, hyper vigilant, avoider, pleaser etc that are resident in the analytical left brain. Once found we reduce their effect by using self-command to shift your attention to use the more powerful mental tools found on your right side of the brain such as navigation, innovation, exploration, empathy. Thus, bringing quicker transformations.
How it works
An online assessment is used to discover the root saboteurs. Next I train you on the techniques but even better than that if you wish I enrol you for six weeks or longer on the Positive Intelligence app program, that provides you with three 2 minutes tasks five times a week to develop your mental muscle but also provides a mental gym function for you to develop your skills further. In Weekly one-hour videos Dr Shiraz explains the techniques and application in detail.
Next you are put in a pod of people with similar coaching needs or just with me at the helm so we can work together and discuss the successes and barriers to implementing the techniques.
I can enrol five people for free on this app every six weeks or if all my places are taken I can still enrol you at $20 dollars a month which is still cheaper than the initial $1000 six week package charged on Shiraz’s website.
This is a new and optional part of my coaching. It’s important for you to know that I have been through the six weeks myself and have continued to use the apps since then.

- happier to achieve lasting results over time, than fast results that don’t last

- lead by example – shows up on time, call when I say I will, keep any commitments made, or makes amends when I don’t
